A FULL CURCLE MOMENT.
26 years ago I was serenaded with LeAnn Rimes version of the song “how do I live without you “. I was in love and ready to take vows that I thought would last forever. When our love story ended abruptly 3 1/2 years later. My daughter and I were left to pick up the pieces. Heartbroken and homeless we headed into survival mode. It was a long journey with many ups and downs but we managed to create a beautiful life with countless memories in spite of the despair. However, I was never able to listen to the song, “how do I live without you”. Mostly because he chose to do that very thing, live without me. I would quickly turn the radio off or leave a store if the song came on just to preserve what was left of my fragmented heart.
CUT TO:
26 years later my best friend called me and asked me if I wanted to see the LeAnn Rimes Candle light concert. I immediately said, “no thank you”. As I hung up the phone I heard a voice say, “just go”. It was that internal voice we so often ignore. But as I have matured, I’ve learned to welcome it. So I called my bestie back and said YES! I thought I’ll just turn off the emotions when “our song” comes on as I so often conditioned myself to do for the last 26 years. But God had a different plan. As LeAnn approached the stage filled with candlights in a beautiful old church downtown, I felt a peace that passes all understanding. She played music from her new CD, “Gods Work”. Her voice was heaven sent. She said, “I don’t know if we do grief, I think grief does us”. She laughed and cried and we all sang along. The night was almost over and I had still not heard, “our song”. But as God works, The piano started with one cord and the floodgates opened. My best friend put her arm around my shoulder and we both cried tears of relief and joy. The pain was somehow erased and as LeAnn sang in a song she had performed moments earlier, “all is forgiven now”. I chose years ago to forgive him but last night, I set myself free from what I thought my life was supposed to be. Thank you @tara.broida @leannrimes and @candlelight.concerts for the gift of a FULL CIRCLE MOMENT! GOD IS GOOD! 🤍

Two and a half years ago my daughter slid this pup

Two and a half years ago my daughter slid this puppy into my insta DM’s. It was an immediate YES! She was 5 months old and found in Bakersfield by an amazing organization @tobiessmalldogrescue. Her name was Willow Rose. I changed it to HALO as I immediately noticed the angel wings on her bum. She is the sweetest, kindest most gentle dog who has brought my family and friends so much joy! I’m grateful! 🤍🐶🤍

I took this picture in the garden at the Getty museum after following a single white butterfly to the other side where it met another one. It’s journey was beautiful and when the two collided they danced for a bit and continued on. I’m so thankful for my blessings and the people I am honored to go through life dancing with!
